They're on the nice list.

Month 1

Our first month as a family of 5!  Total time warp.  My cup runneth over.  I try to stop and cherish all of these sweet moments, I know they will fly by in the blink of an eye - at least that's what I tell myself at 2am (and 3:15 and 4:50 and 5:30).

Halloween 2013

Oops, I forgot to post our Halloween pics.  I love Halloween - I don't want to gloss over it.  The kids are just so darn cute I can hardly take it!!  Isaac chose to be a police man and as usual he wanted Molly or Audrey to compliment his costume.  So naturally Molly was a prisoner.  Audrey picked this purple butterfly costume out of a catalog that came back in August.  She was obssessed!!  And Emme and I were skeletons ;)  For a minute there I actually thought she might be a Halloween baby :)

Sweet Emmeline

Sweet Emmeline......dun, dun, dun......good times never seemed so good......!!

Emmeline Rose joined our family on 11/5/13 at 9:18am weighing 8lbs 4oz and 20" of loveliness.

This was a VERY difficult pregnancy for me, which made this moment all that much sweeter!!

Emme is our first baby that didn't have to go to the NICU so she got to ride with me from the OR to recovery and take her bath right there in my room - such a treat!

She had so many visitors there ready to love on her.......

Grandma and Grandpa:

Mimi and Papa:

 Aunt Kristen:

Maggie, our nanny:

Aunt Angela:

But most excitedly, Isaac and Audrey:

Emmeline was even sweet enough to bring her big bro and big sis a little gift.  How thoughtful of her.

They came to see her every day in the hospital.

My Jeffy and his three kids that look just like him.  I'm 0 for 3.

Uncle Brad made it back in time from a business trip to catch her in the hospital too:

Have I mentioned this girl has a full head of beautiful black hair?  Not my mom, Emmeline ;)  It was the talk of the OB ward!

Proud parents for Emme's first selfie right before we busted out of the hospital.

Going home!

And Aunt Laura (with A, I and E's very first cousin on board) and a surprise visit from Uncle Tom rounded out the family greetings once home:

Emmeline means "work"and is a medieval name and seemed refreshing given the super popularity of Emma and Emily.  And we knew we wanted to name our baby girl with an "E" name.  We thought it was fun to stick with vowels and Olivia and Ursula just weren't doing it for us.  We went in to the hospital armed with 4 really good and unique E choices and decided before we left the OR that Emmeline was the winner for this black haired beauty!  Rose is tribute to Jeff's grandmother, as Emme is her 24th great-grandchild, amazing.

My aunt and godmother sent these adorable little bags of delicious cookies for our brood and visitors.  All of our little vowels :)

Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day at Isaac's school is a VERY big deal.  He was lucky enough to have Mimi and Grandma and Grandpa there this year!  3 out of 4 is pretty darn good when all of your grandparents live out of the state. :)

FALL!!

Our fall in pictures (in no particular order):

The kids attended sibling class (sitting front and center about an inch apart) at the hospital I'm going to deliver at.  Too cute for words.  They are so ridiculously excited for Baby E to join us.

Our summer was so mild, so we should have known it would be 100 degrees all through September and even unseasonably warm in Oct.  Our leaves haven't even changed color yet!  We just finally turned the heat on at night starting this week.  It's been so strange.  Here the kids are enjoying a little heat relief that the rain brought in.

First Day of School!  Audrey started a little preschool program just 1 day a week but she was pumped to have a backpack and lunch box like she see's her big brother take to school!

Jeff works way too hard.  I think I took this picture near the end of a 21 day straight with no days off stretch.  The kids can't even let the poor guy alone for 20 mins to take a nap if he's home!

Isaac and Molly are good buds.  He built her a "fort" in the pillows and she played along and stayed in there and gave him a kiss to say thank you.

Full term.  After a preterm labor hospitalization at 34 weeks, glad to be here.  The whole fall has been a countdown!  Yes I've gained 45lbs, don't judge.

 Getting spooky around here!

Go Cards!  Our Cardinals are in the World Series!!  They won the year Audrey was born.  Maybe they'll win the years both our girls were born!

Pumpkin patch.  Of course they found the biggest pumpkin they could and suckered Uncle Brad and Auntie Ang into getting it for them :)
