Easter 2011

We had planned to spend Easter on the farm this year, but our plans were foiled by a fever and sinus infection of Audrey's that landed us in the ER at the end of last week. So, we stayed home and kept things low key.

Isaac attended 2 egg hunts - one with some friends at their house, and one held in the parkway of our street with all of our neighbors!

Audrey's idea of egg hunting.

A Perfect Spring Day

I'm posting these pictures today to cheer up all my friends and family in NE Wisconsin that found themselves in an April snow storm yesterday. A perfect spring day spent at the Children's Garden in the Missouri Botanical Gardens (which happen to begin at the end of our street). To make it even more perfect my friend Alicia was visiting us from Ohio!! A shout out to her husband, Bryan, for making it alone for 4 days with 3 year old twin boys just so we could hog Alicia - thanks Bry!

99th Percentile

Yesterday Audrey had her 2 month well baby check up. She weighed in at a whopping 14lbs 4oz. That puts her in the 99th percentile for her size. Yes folks, in 100 babies only 1 would be bigger than our chunker. Oh my. The pediatrician calls her THRIVING.......yes, we'll call it that.

The wedding festivities begin.

Us girls got the chance to fly up to WI to celebrate my sister's bachelorette party and bridal shower weekend. Laura and Tom's wedding is only 7 weeks away now! Audrey was a great traveler and her mommy was pretty darn proud of her 31 year old self for keeping up with the bright-eyed 23 year old party goers.....for most of the night anyway!

The wedding colors are navy blue and pink so we all wore the colors to the bachelorette party to be festive :)

Laura and her bridesmaids.

The Matron and Maid of Honor.

The Vandenberg girls at the shower.

And to top off a wonderful weekend of celebrating, we got to see my grandpa. Audrey got to meet her only great grandpa!

Sophie Brown

Our new niece. She's so darn cute it makes me almost want another....almost. I think we'll leave the 10 week old puppy craziness to Brad and Angela. We'll just get her all riled up and have fun and then send her home leaving the responsibility to her parents. Hmmm....this must be what my sisters and Jeff's brother think of our kids!!
